An acknowledgment verifies that a signer willingly signed a document and confirmed their identity.
Once confirmed, we complete the acknowledgment with the official California notary seal.
Trust Documents and Last Will and Testament are legal documents that outline how assets should be managed or distributed, especially after death. Whether your estate planning documents were prepared by an attorney or created independently, they must be properly notarized to be legally valid. During estate planning, when setting up a trust, or finalizing a will, signing in the presence of a licensed notary public helps prevent fraud and ensures the integrity of your documents.
An affidavit is a written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, sworn to be true by the signer in front of a notary. Notarization may be needed for court cases, immigration matters, name changes, or other legal and official processes.
A jurat is for documents that require a sworn oath or affirmation. The signer must swear the contents are true.
At Land Park Mobile Notary Services, we administer jurats by confirming the signer’s identity and guiding them through a verbal oath or affirmation. This notarial act ensures the document’s statements are made truthfully and under penalty of perjury.
A certified copy is a duplicate of an original document that includes an official notarial certificate confirming it is a true and accurate reproduction of the original.
California notaries can only certify copies of powers of attorney.
A valid Power of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directive are vital components of your essential life documents, and allow someone to make legal, financial, or medical decisions on another’s behalf. Regardless of your age or stage of life, having these forms completed and notarized is strongly recommended to protect your interests and ensure your wishes are honored.
Divorce documents include paperwork related to separation agreements, custody, or financial settlements that may require notarization. Notarization may be needed during or after a divorce to verify signatures on legal agreements or court-related documents.
As a licensed, bonded, and insured California notary public, Land Park Mobile Notary Services can serve as both your signing agent and impartial witness when needed.
Every notarized document is stamped with the official California notary seal.
